**Union County Commissioners Celebrate Black History Month with Senior Nutrition Program**
Today, Union County Commissioner Sergio Granados joined local elected officials to participate in the E’port Senior Nutrition and Food Security Program's Black History Month Celebration. The event, sponsored by Prevention Links and the One Community One Family organization, was held at the Elizabethport Community Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
The celebration focused on Black History Month while also emphasizing the importance of nutrition within the culture. Seniors in the community attended and engaged in the program, learning about culturally connected nutrition and food security initiatives.
The program is part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2024-2025 activities and highlights collaborative efforts to promote wellness in Union County.
