**Union County Commissioner Joins Annual Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk to Support Community Causes**
This morning, Union County Commissioner Sergio Granados participated in the 3rd Annual Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk hosted by Elizabeth PBA Local #4 at Warinanco Park. The event brought together local and state elected officials, participants, and supporters to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while fundraising for two meaningful causes.
Proceeds from the 5K will benefit the St. Joseph Social Service Center, which provides vital resources to individuals and families in need within the community. Additionally, funds will support members of the Elizabeth Police Department who are participating in the Unity Tour, a cycling event aimed at honoring fallen law enforcement officers and raising awareness about their service and sacrifices.
The event saw a strong turnout and demonstrated the community's commitment to wellness and charitable support.
