Scranton Collision: Tractor Trailer Driver Faces Charges

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the intersection of North Washington Avenue and Linden Street in downtown Scranton, a collision occurred involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle. Police identified the tractor trailer driver as Robert Bolus from Scranton. After reviewing video footage and witness testimony, Bolus was determined to be at fault.

As a result, Bolus was issued a summons and faces misdemeanor charges. He has been charged with Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property (hit & run) and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. The matter has been referred to Lackawanna County Court for adjudication.
